  • Feeling undervalued?

  • Feeling a heaviness and lack of motivation?

  • Trying to rise from the ashes of their passion long since burned out?

  • Struggling to reignite their spark?

Burned out employees = less productivity

They don’t have to struggle any longer.  We understand, because we’ve both been there.  Your employees yearn to feel more resilient and supported.

Hey there, we’re Sara & Trevor

We’re here to help your employees reignite their excitement, passion, and purpose so they can focus powerfully, think creatively, and harness their highest potential.

Our purpose is to provide a meaningful experience that includes mindful creativity to reduce stress and facilitate joyful expression.

Sara is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a Heart Centered Facilitator, dedicated to supporting corporate employees to reduce stress, find clarity, and cultivate self-compassion, wisdom, & love.

Trevor is an artist & creative thinker, dedicated to creating art and experiences that connect and inspire people.

Here’s our story

Trevor loved the traveling and variety of his previous career in the film & video industry, but he always imagined himself doing more by creating art and experiences for others.  The sporadic and uncertain schedule was a recipe for self-sacrifice with limited capacity for prioritizing his creativity or his family.  The once exciting prospect of spontaneous travel turned to a heavy stress with young kids at home.

Sara’s former career was in the corporate world of digital mapping and project management, which also included traveling often.  She dove in head first, eager to become a go-to-girl at work and she did so quickly.  The glamor of putting work first started to fade as her health declined and her stress level sky-rocketed. The breaking point was the intersection of trying to be an outstanding self-sacrificing employee and a benevolent self-sacrificing mother.  Burnout became inevitable without the awareness or resources to address it so she resigned from her job.

Sara’s health concerns led her to seek out answers, which eventually culminated in attending the Institute of Integrative Nutrition’s Health Coaching program.  She was finally able to prioritize her own health and wellness to break free of the self-sacrificing mindset.  Empowered by this awareness, she realized her passion for helping others to embrace their own unique self-care needs.

Trevor and Sara both started their first careers straight out of college and fell right into the grind of life.  They were following the classic formula to success and happiness… work, get married, buy a house, and have kids.  Except, the cracks in the formula started to become gaping holes.  The exhaustion, health issues, and growing pile of stuff were burying them in debt, regret, and unsustainability.

Trevor created the first Centering Board one day while he was testing different woodworking adhesives.  What was meant to be a fast, simple design made from scrap wood became a visualization of everything in his life that made him who he is. He found himself staring at the pattern and flow of the board looking at all of the parts of his life coming together in the center.  It was a profound experience for him and when he shared it with Sara, she saw an amazing tool for helping people get clarity and stay true to themselves.

So, they followed their hearts to start a business together and move to the Pacific Northwest after living in Colorado for 35+ years.

They now work and live with deep love and gratitude for the life they’ve created together.  They want to share their work with people who also want to experience excitement, passion, purpose, transformation, and connection through the act of creating unrestrained and in-flow.

Trevor Nordeen has always embodied the title Creative.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude in Economics, he quickly used his creativity to turn his short-lived career as an economist into a twenty year career in video production.  During his time in the industry he worked on many productions for HBO, ESPN, NBC, CBS, HGTV, MTV, PGA Tour, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic Channel, among others.  He also worked on corporate videos for top companies such as MillerCoors, United Launch Alliance, Service Now, Cisco, Comcast, and Verizon.

When it was time for a change, Trevor did what any *self-respecting* creative would do:  he dedicated himself to his art…at 41 years old…with a spouse and two kids!   It didn’t take long for him to tap into his creativity once again and turn what was actually just an experiment with materials into a powerful and meaningful art project that, when combined with Sara’s coaching expertise, became The Centering Cooperative.
